Purpose and values

Our purpose

The Georgian Association in Sweden exists to bring Georgians, Swedes, and friends of Georgia together — to celebrate Georgian culture, language, and traditions, and to help newly arrived Georgians settle into life in Sweden.

Our values

  • Community over hierarchy. Decisions are made openly with members.
  • Cultural exchange. We build bridges, not walls, between cultures.
  • Respect and inclusion. Everyone is welcome regardless of background.

When you submit the membership form we collect your name, email address, phone number, and (if you provide it) the Swedish city you live in. We use this information only to:

  • Contact you about your membership application
  • Send you association updates and event invitations (if you opted in)

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing the address on the Contact page.
